By using virgin fibres, we can create the ideal mix of long fibres for strength and short fibres for optimal print quality. Moreover, it makes our product range food safe and recyclable.
Our products have a natural or white shade and are available in a broad range of basis weights. Specialties include soft-nip calendered paper with a silky smooth surface or paper optimized for water-based inkjet.
Our latest innovation is Crown Native: paper made with sugar beet pulp. By using this alternative fibre, we managed to improve the paper’s environmental footprint by 16% compared to our traditional paper. Read more about Crown Native here.

Sugar packaged in sugar beet paper
A world first. In 2020, we announced Crown Native: the first ‘sugar beet paper’ to be produced at an industrial scale. Aside from being strong, affordable and food safe, the paper has a significant reduced environmental impact. Sugar beet fiber have 80% less environmental impact than traditional cellulose fibers.
