We recorded the very first run of the new Crown Letsgo High Performance with 140 and 180 gsm - 7 and 9 pt caliper - for stiff but lighter one piece mailers and direct mail cards. Once again this year GI Solutions has been nominated for the Digital Printer Award 2022. The client for the award nominated job was Lakeland and of course this mass personalized mailing was printed on Crown Van Gelder paper (Letsgo Silk 130 gsm).

Last night the association Xplor France selected the price winners of the Xpor Innovative Technology and Sustainability award. The Xplor event is a key moment in the sector, the Xplor Awards highlights the sector by bringing visibility to innovative applications. Representing Crown Van Gelder Philippe Simoni presented our Crown Native sustainable brand with a two minute pitch video.

A paper bag that is strong, food safe, recyclable, compostable and both offset and flexo printable. Due to a unique synergy in the value chain, five partners have created this sustainable and innovative solution. The icing on the cake: winning two prizes at the EUROSAC Grand Prix 2022: Bronze and Public Choice Award!

Crown Van Gelder is going for Gold with development partners in the Eurosac Grand Prix on May 19-21 in Bilbao, Spain. This year, 3 members of Eurosac (Novidon, Fiorini and Crown Van Gelder) will pitch together, in collaboration with sugar beet pulp supplier Cosun and brandowner DLF.

Good news: Crown Van Gelder obtained the EcoVadis gold score yet again in 2022. For this achievement we are awarded the gold EcoVadis-medal.

Homework on sustainable sugarbeet paper? It is possible!

We announced earlier that Crown Van Gelder was nominated for the sustainability awards. Paper made from Dutch Sugar Beet Pulp (Crown Native) was one of the new innovations that was nominated by the readers as one of the biggest innovations this year.

As from this summer, sugar beet pulp will be used to make Van Gilse kilo bags of granulated sugar. The kilo bags will be on sale in supermarkets.
